Age is not a disease! Did you know that your 10 year old dog is 70 in people years, and your 8 year old cat is 64 in people years? Here at Flushing Animal Hospital, we feel that your senior citizen pet deserves the same routine veterinary care that we would give to a young pet. Along with the routine care, your oldie, but goodie, should also have a yearly physical health exam, comprehensive eye exam to check for cataracts and glaucoma, and blood work testing to check for any disease processes that may be developing.
