Routine Services

Below is a list of basic routine services we offer, along with the cost:

Health Exam

When your pet is feeling ill or just needs a yearly physical, Dr. Liggett will do a full physical on your pet including: checking for obvious masses, checking ears, checking eyes, checking the condition of your pet's mouth, skin, joints, listening to their heart and lungs, and taking their temperature. After checking your pet's physical condition, Dr. Liggett will talk with you and based on what signs and symptoms your pet is having, he will suggest a plan of treatment or diagnostics to find out exactly what the problem is. If requested, we will gladly prepare an estimate of the expected charges before proceeding with treatment.
(All walk-ins will be subject to a convenience fee of $30 (this charge will be in addition to the health exam fee).

Canine/Feline Nail Trim

Nail Trimming is an important aspect of your pet's health. If your pet's nails are too long, they are in danger of getting caught in things, being ripped out, or even breaking which could be painful! Most pets should have their nails trimmed every 4-6 weeks.
Ear Cleaning
Having clean ears is a very important aspect of your pet's health. Dirty, red, itchy, or smelly ears can symbolize a variety of ear conditions including: allergies, ear mites, yeast infections, or bacterial infections. Keeping your pet's ears clean can help to prevent some of these conditions. We will provide a basic ear cleaning with anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-microbial, and anti-yeast ear cleaner, and will clean the debris out.

Anal Gland Expression

Does your pet scoot their bottom across the floor? Is he or she constantly licking their bottom? If so, they could have impacted anal glands. Our technician can easily and painlessly check your pet's anal glands and clean them out, helping your beloved friend have the relief they deserve.

Some other services we offer are: Tonometry, Tear Testing, Eye Stains, ECG, Cytologies, and much more.
