Canine Lyme Vaccine: $41.50

Lyme disease is transmitted to both dogs and humans by the painless bite of a tick. Lyme disease may result in chronic arthritis, fever, lethargy, muscle stiffness, lack of appetite, and neurological disease. In more severe cases, lameness occurs as a result of severe musculoskeletal or arthritic type joint pain. This disease is more common in the northern parts of the United States. This vaccine is recommended for your dog if you live near or your dog travels to wooded areas. Other dogs at risk for this disease include those that live near wildlife including most small to large mammals such as mice, rabbits, squirrels, foxes, and deer. This vaccine is updated annually.
